:: Blueprint 3 Instrumentals - Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda ::
An A&R at Rocafella contacted Alex Goose to submit instrumentals for Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 album. Although I thought a lot of them were superb, unfortunately none of them made the cut. The upside is that the internet is buzzing about the album that could have been. Download the instrumental album in it’s entirety here. Lastly, don’t forget to check out his design work/artwork (which also rocks)!
:: Ricky Allman - Artist ::
An obsession with the Apocalypse is evident in the works of painter Ricky Allman. His hauntingly striking pictures draw upon imaginary architectural worlds where Utopia and Dystopia are simultaneously being created and destroyed. In his painting ‘The Triple Trio Trifecta’, Allman produces a grey cityscape of angular structures through which he lays rainbow bursts of colors.
By juxtaposing an air of hope with one of despair, Allman forms an eerie world view. His bleak paintings have proven popular across the US, and he has already exhibited extensively in New York, LA, Boston and Miami.

I really want to visit this skatepark in Lugano, Switzerland which was transformed from an old swimming pool by NEVERCREW, a bunch of artists that do murales, graphics, videos, comics, sculpture as well as shit-loads of other creative stuff!

Tucked into the brightly lit elevator of the Soho Mews, a high-end apartment building on West Broadway, are two brokers, a broker’s assistant, a publicist, a road manager, a personal assistant, and Gene and Terrence Thornton, the thirtysomething brothers who make up the rap group Clipse. Known professionally as Malice and Pusha-T — that’s how they politely introduce themselves to the brokers, the fastidiously dressed Spencer, who arranged all of the day’s appointments, and the well-manicured Anne Marie — the two are in town for a day only, and are squeezing in viewings before a photo shoot and an early evening show.

While New Yorkers were consumed by the market meltdown, a tiny little pet store quietly opened at 89 7th Avenue between West 4th and Bleeker Street in the West Village of New York City back in October 2008.
There were no puppies or kittens in the windows there.
“New Yorkers don’t care about art, they care about pets. So I’m exhibiting them instead. I wanted to make art that questioned our relationship with animals and the ethics and sustainability of factory farming, but it ended up as chicken nuggets singing. I took all the money I made exploiting an animal in my last show and used it to fund a new show about the exploitation of animals. If its art and you can see it from the street, I guess it could still be considered street art.” - Banksy
